Students in the Headingley and Leeds University areas will not be charged travel expenses as long as tuition takes place within these areas. Please note: hourly rates reduce the longer a session runs. It therefore pays to arrange one two hour session rather than two separate one hour sessions.

FURTHER INFORMATION
- Travel expenses apply to destinations inside the Leeds area. Travel expenses outside Leeds are subject to negotiation.
- Quoted travel expenses will be partially discounted (or not charged at all) if free lifts are provided for the Tutor.
- Administration before actual teaching is not charged
- Fifteen minutes extra tutorial time may be given free in order to help a student complete an assignment.
- Printed material is charged at 20p per sheet (40p for colour)
- A negotiated charge applies should students wish for an in-depth evaluation or correction of their work outside of tuition hours.
- The Tutor does not normally conduct extensive research on behalf of the student. However, should this be necessary a negotiated charge will be made.
- The Tutor is not responsible if any of his students fail to follow legal guidelines pertaining to plagiarism and/or copyright violation. The moral and legal responsibility for properly referencing their work lies with them and not with the tutor. His policy is not to get involved in disputes relating to such matters.
- An hourly charge may be made if less than twenty-four hours’ notice is given of a cancellation.
- An initial bond of £20.oo will be required before any tuition requiring more than one session. This will be returned in the final session.
